Reclaiming God's Creation: God's Gems Are Being Perverted Thru New Age Beliefs & Practices

Two years ago as a result of constantly meeting people suggesting that if I would tell customers the benefits of the stones in my creations, I would sell out.  At the time I had no idea what they meant.  I did not believe that stones had any benefits.  My attraction is only that they are God's beautiful creations.  I want others to see this also.  As I looked further into this I discovered that many people believe that the stones have healing properties.  As a Christian I believe that healing only comes through the one who created everything God. 

Why do so many believe a lifeless stone would have the power to heal?  I discovered that this is one aspect of New Age practices and beliefs. New Ageism is deliberately indeterminable and does not have a set of core beliefs or doctrines. Many people unknowingly participate in its practices.  The practices are packaged and marketed in such a clever way that many do not comprehend where or what these practices originate from. New Ageism has also been described has a spiritual supermarket where you can handpick spiritual and religious beliefs rather than subscribe to a single faith. DIY Spirituality "Individualistic Culture"   "Me Generation".

I began to search the bible scriptures for answers.  I initially went to google to create a list of every scripture that referenced gemstones in the bible.  I begin to create a chart of how gemstones were utltized in scripture.  One by one I went through each scripture on the list and placed the scripture on the list denoting its purpose. The list had 38 scriptures that referenced precious stones.Then I came across the 26th scripture on my list, Ezekiel 28:12:-17.

12 Son of man, raise a lamenetation over the king of Tyre, and say to him, thus says the Lord God: You were the signet of perfection full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

13 You were in Eden, the Garden of God; every precious stone was your covering: the ruby, the topaz and the diamond; the beryl, the onyx and the jasper: the lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald; and the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, was in you on the day you were created they were prepared.

14 You were an anointed guardian cherub I placed you, on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of he stones of fire your walked.

15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till unrighteousness found in you

16 In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I detroyed you, o guardian cheerub from the midst of the stones of fire

17 Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor I cast you to the ground I exposed you before kings to fast their eyes on 

These scriptures describe Lucifer's beauty in his unfallen state.  God's most beautify creation.  His make up was every precious stone .  He (the creation) began to think too highly of himself.  He began to see himself as higher and more worthy of worship than God (the Creator).  Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.  Pride was the nature of Lucifer's fall.

Satan is the source of how the perversion of gemstones began. He has infiltrated gemstones today and draws people to believe stones have power and should be worshiped.  In his unfallen state he was the beauty of gems. His make up was every gemstone. He still lies to himself and sees himself in this beautiful state when he wanted to be worshipped and above God.  Now when he attracts people to this trend of thinking stones have the power to to heal or manifest things, this fulfills his ultimate desire to be worshiped and seen a powerful. When people worship these gems it is the same as worshiping Satan and looking to him as a source of power. Even though like all new age practices this message is not on the surface and most have no idea they are doing this. He was God's magnificent creation.  The creation can never have more power than the Creator. There is no power to heal within, around,  or through gemstones. This is just a failed attempt of Satan to have people take their eyes off the only source of healing, God. There are resources that aid us in healing but healing itself can only come from source of all power, God of Heaven.

We should enjoy these beautiful gemstones. Gemstones are simply some of Gods most beautiful creatons. When you see God's beautiful creations it is a reflection of how beautiful he is.  Look into the mirror of God's creations and behold a reflection of him.  Romans 1:20 NIV For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

We say we can not see God but he is in every beautiful detail that surrounds us. Enjoy it but give honor only to the Creator not the creation!
