Miriam Walker Collection-The Journey

Copper, brass, quartz, amethyst, pearls, shells and all their kinsmen are willing participants in the architectural hands of custom-luxury-Wearable Fine Artist, Miriam Walker. Filtered through her mother’s creativity, Miriam’s artistic abilities revealed themselves early on in elementary school. At age 10, her first design was a macramé doily so refined, her grandmother entered it into the Fort Bend County Fair and won an award. Continuing to evolve, she attended art classes at Glassell School of Art-MFAH. Validation from teachers and professors regarding her sketches, undergirded her abilities pushing her forward. Her passion lead her to the University of Houston where she obtained a Bachelors in Architecture.  She worked as an Architect Intern at a firm for many years but always knew there was a greater vision for her skill. She eventually stepped out on faith and began transferring that architectural training into producing her indigenous-wearable-fine-art.

 

The Miriam Walker Collection is a unique line created with Holy Spirit inspiration drawn from nature. Each piece represents spiritual armor and reflects a story woven from these naturally inspired elements. Unlike mass-produced brands, our designs are extraordinary masterpieces individually created to empower the women who wear them.

 

Our luxury handcrafted Wearable Fine Art is made of carefully selected natural and rough materials. These include semiprecious stones as well as precious metals, wood, beads, pearls, and shells.
